By using CareerMatch, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and that you agree to comply with these terms. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

3. User Responsibilities

When using CareerMatch, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information in your profile
• Use the service for lawful purposes only
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the application or its APIs
• Not use automated tools or bots to interact with the service
• Not redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the service without written permission

4. Data & Privacy

5. Third-Party Services

CareerMatch integrates with the JSearch API (via RapidAPI) to provide real job listings. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of third-party job listings. Job postings are sourced from platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor, and their respective terms apply to any interactions with those platforms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding associated with CareerMatch are the property of CareerMatch and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

CareerMatch is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Specifically:

• Salary estimates are approximations based on publicly available data and algorithms. They should not be relied upon as financial advice.
• Job listings are sourced from third-party APIs and may not reflect current availability or accuracy.
• Career insights and recommendations are generated algorithmically and should be considered as guidance, not professional career advice.
• We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerMatch and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, income, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service at any time, for any reason, without notice. Since all data is stored in your browser, termination of access does not affect data already stored locally on your device.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of CareerMatch shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through binding arbitration.
